JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is not entirely an brand-new film. Rather, the newest movie from the JuJutsu Kaisen action franchise is a compilation of the show's sophomore season stitched together with the initial episodes of its upcoming season, which begins the Culling Games arc from the source material. The second season of JuJutsu Kaisen boosted the show to become the award-winning series of 2024, and when the Thunderclap episodes were premiered one after another, it was the focus of attention for multiple weeks in the animation fandom. Fans knew about the problems with the production, which made them admire what they witnessed even more. People eagerly awaited to see if the disc version, made available on March 18, would include new footage to the fight or to see if it was improved in any way, and were overjoyed to see exactly that, alongside reshades, smoother movement, and altered color palette.
